So, for the past 2 months, I've been on an extended trip home. It was great- fun times with my friends and family, good food, working on fun little projects....
And here are some of the delights I cooked up:

I think of all of these treats-my favourite was probably the red velvet cupcakes. I combined a few recipes to create one that i thought would be good. it was so moist and just the right amount of chocolate flavour. i think the frosting could have been better but even that was pretty good(not to sound big headed or anything). Although, the pecan brownie pie was pretty yummy and unusual-it was like a pudding/brownie/pecan pie all in one. I left home 4 days ago and i am very sad and missing everyone so haven't felt much like baking. but, i got a great cupcake book during my trip so i'm sure i will be testing out some recipes soon!
